The 4-Barreled Chain Gun SWEEPER (4連装チェインガン SWEEPER Yon rensō cheingan Suīpā?) is an enemy in Ninja Gaiden II, only seen in Chapter 8: Submit, or Die!. It also appears in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus, and Ninja Gaiden II: Black.
Story[]
Ryu Hayabusa and Sonia pursued Genshin, leader of the Black Spider Ninja Clan, and the Greater Fiend Elizébet, who stole the Demon Statue from the Castle of the Dragon of Hayabusa Village to resurrect her evil god, the Archfiend, onto the Flying Fortress Deadalus. With the aircraft left too severly damage by Ryu's path of destruction, the Dragon Ninja and the special agent are forced to escape the crash, and find themselves in Moscow, where the Queen of Blood awakened Zedonius, the Ruler of Flames, from his slumber. Traversing the mine-strewn alleys of the city, Ryu has to take down two 4-Barreled Chain Gun SWEEPER turrets at the gate of a church.
Behavior[]
Once they lock on to their target, these turrets fire a short stream of bullets at Hayabusa. While the projectiles guard lock the player, they cannot break it nor damage through your defense.
Strategy[]
Hold block until the cannons reach their cooldown, then retaliate by unleashing either the Art of the Piercing Void or the Art of the Inferno Ninpo spell on them.
