A Perilous Descent is the 3-2 mission in Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound and part of Act 3: Bladewalker. The stage takes place in East Mount Fuji. Its Secret Ops equivalent is S-3 Mountain Trial.
Description[]
Descending from Mount Fuji, Kenji and Kumori navigate treacherous paths and encounter an unexpected military patrols also besieged by demons.

Scarabs[]
- Scarab: Right at the start, as you stand on the edge, you will see the scarab on the other side.
- Scarab x3: After going through some ziplines, you will be able to shoot at a gear to rise the chained stone on which you are standing. A bit after that you will go down and there will be two ziplines one after another. When you get on the second one, you need to quickly jump and grab the ceiling. The scarab is few steps ahead on that ceiling. This is right before a checkpoint and Demon Altar.
- Scarab: At the place your broke the wall on the left to reach the Secret Op, proceed to the right. You will see a zipline with spikes above and under it. The Scarab is on the ceiling after the zipline. You need to jump from the zipline to reach it.
Crystal Skulls[]
- Crystal Skull: You will reach your first Demon Alter. With Kumori, you will to head up and then follow the path until the end. There, you will shoot at a gear, that will lift a chained stone (which is a bit in front of Kenji). As you switch back to Kenji, you need to quickly go ahead and use the ninja wall jumps to up where the stone was. You need to be quick and reach the Crystal Skull before the stone goes down.
- Crystal Skull: After using a long zipline, you will reach an checkpoint and proceed through an outside area. At the end, you will need to go down. Once you are at the bottom, turn left and destroy the wall. Proceed to the left, which leads to a dead end with the Crystal Skull.
- Crystal Skull: After reaching a cutscene with a bleeding Cyclops, you will have to go through some wooden platforms. At the end you will climb up and reach a checkpoint. Right after that, you will have to jump down on a wooden platform. The Crystal Skull will be on the bottom left of the platform, next to the wall.
Secret Ops[]
- Secret Ops: After the second Crystal Skull, proceed and you will reach a checkpoint and be outside again. At the end you will go underground again, then turn left and down again. At the bottom, turn left and destroy the wall to find a Demon Altar. Reach the end with Kumori to find the secret op.
