The Art of Vacuum Wave is an Art used by Ryu Hayabusa, it is found only in Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom.
Description[]
Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom[]
This is the art where you can transform the "spirit" that dwells within you into a vacuum blade and throw it up and down at the same time. This cuts all enemies who touch it.[1]
Plot[]
When Ryu is framed for the death of Irene Lew, he visits many places to solve this mystery and clear name. During his journey he uses the art of vacuum blades many times.
Advantages[]
- Kills enemies above and below Ryu.
Disadvantages[]
- Does not touch enemies in front or behind.
- Limited Range.
Utilization[]
This is particularly handy when Ryu is in mid air or hanging from a ledge with enemies coming up from beneath him, or when there are enemies attacking from above. It is primarily a special-purpose ninpo for those situations, and not one to keep for general use.
Trivia[]
- This Ninpo is a unique variation of the Art of the Wind Blades.
