Chapter 6: Guiding Winds is the sixth chapter of Ninja Gaiden 4. The chapter takes place in Fuuhaku Sanctum.
Synopsis[]
The howling winds build in ferocity, as if the gods themselves are trying to keep Yakumo from encroaching on their sacred grounds. As he nears the Dark Dragon seal, Yakumo pierces through countless obstacles and fearlessly presses onward.
Story[]
While falling from the bridge, Yakumo uses his glider and finds a good place to land. Having sidetracked, he now has to find a new path.
Little by little he gets closer to the shrine. He eventually runs into a large group of daemons in front of a tengu statue, but defeats them and breaks the statue. Getting closer to the shrine, Seori tells him that the god of the mountain is probably waiting for him and he will be extra mad for breaking all those statues, however Yakumo doesn't even care about that.
Collectables[]
- Black Scale: At the start, after the flying section, you will land on a bridge. Turn around and go towards the Umi and Tyran shops. Next to them there are two chests, the further one has the Black Scale.
- Purgatory Gate: You will reach a section with Tyran and Umi's shops and to proceed you will to slide on a large rope. After the slide, you will need to catch a wind and glide on a platform with three green fires. As you land, turn right and you will see a branch on which you can swing. Follow the path and it will lead to a dead end with the Purgatory Gate.
- Gourdy: As you progress, you will meet your first Tsukumo Fish. Right after it, you will meet a second Tsukumo Fish that is standing in front of a Flying Bird Flip section. Once up, you will see several chests and another use of Flying Bird Flip. Climb up again and turn around. While standing on the edge, look right and you will see a small platform with a Gourdy on it.

- Execute the man-eating daemons: As you progress, you will reach a longer wooden platform path with a Tsukumo shooting at you from the other end. The path will then collapse and you will need to slide, swing and glide to land on a platform. From this platform, instead of going right between the rocks, stand on its left edge and you will see a tree branch on which you can swing. Follow that path and it will lead to a dead end with a group of oni.
