Demon Eels are a fiends who appears in Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound. They live in a lake in Mount Fuji and are the boss of the stage A Perilous Descent.

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound[]
After Kenji Mozu and Kumori have fused, they descend Mount Fuji. They find a zipline left by a military squad and use it, but while using it the Blue and Purple Demon Eels attack them, trying to bite them, however the two manage to avoid their attacks.
A bit later however, Kenji and Kumori have to cross a lake. While they navigate through it, they end up attack again by the Demon Eels, however this time they can't escape and are forced to fight them. Kenji and Kumori manage to kill the eels, with each noting that they could have been able to do it alone.
Abilities and Powers[]
The Blue Demon Eel and the Purple Demon Eel have different attacks. The Blue Demon Eel always starts on the left side of the screen, while the Purple Demon Eel always stars on he right side. However at some point during the fight, they can switch places.
Blue Demon Eel[]
- Vertical Bite: This is the only common attack between the two eels. They will rise from the water, underneath Kenji and try to bite him.
- Projectile Attack: The Blue Demon Eel will spit out four slow blue ball projectiles one after another. They are easy to avoid and they hit the ground, they will create a blue flame pillar.
- Bite Attack: The Blue Demon Eel will freeze for a moment with its mouth open, and then proceed to attempt a bite. The attack has a half the platform range, so you must be on the other half to avoid being hit.
Purple Demon Eel[]
- Vertical Bite: This is the only common attack between the two eels. They will rise from the water, underneath Kenji and try to bite him.
- Projectile Attack: The Purple Demon Eel will open its mouth and shoot four small projectiles one after another. They are faster than the Blue Demon Eel's and are headed directly towards Kenji.
- Breath Attack: The Purple Demon Eel will go down a bit and open its mouth, creating a small purple ball. A moment later, it will unleash a purple fire breath attack that covers half the platform, so you must be on the other half to avoid it.
