Draugr are zombie-like Fiends appearing in Ninja Gaiden 4. The Draugr can be two types depending on their behaviour: Melee or Ranged.
Description[]
Melee[]
A humanoid fiend that inhabits the underworld. Blue spines of crystallized miasma protrude from every part of its body, and its rigid movements and awkward behavior evoke the archetypal zombie.
They constantly roam from location to location in search of the noxious gas they need to stay alive. upon spotting prey that secretes a high level of miasma, they move with surprising agility and lunge at their target with savage biting attacks. They also utilize their sharp claws in combat, poisoning victims with concentrations of miasma fatal to normal humans.
They rarely enter the human world through interdimensional gates, but Tokyo, now flooded with toxic rain, has become an unfortunately ideal habitat for these creatures.
Ranged[]

Draugr can be broadly classified into two types based on their appearance, with each displaying slightly different behavior. Characteristic to this type of draugr is an organ that produces acid within its body that allows it to expel a projectile from its mouth. The creature has highly developed jaws muscles, so neither the range nor the power of these acid-based projectiles should be underestimated. A direct hi from the acid, capable of dissolving even concrete, can liquefy a human victim's skin in a matter of seconds. It is unknown whether these draugr are conscious of their capabilities or act on instinct, but they must be handled with caution due to their unique ability for ranged offense.
