The Dworku monastery was the Vigoorian monastery in Dworku District, found in Chapters 6 and 7 in Ninja Gaiden (Xbox) and Ninja Gaiden Black and Chapters 7 and 8 in Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus. Ryu Hayabusa goes through the monastery and goes down the underground Cemetery he finds new enemies he finds Ghul & Lesser Shadow Demon. It is located near the monastery annex. In the monastery annex there is a Muramasa Shop. And in Master Ninja Difficulty Ryu finds Crow Shadow Demons. This is the only place the Monk Fiends can be fought.
Story[]
The monastery is first seen when Rachel goes to it, fighting through SAT soldiers and lesser shadow fiends. She eventually enters it and after encountering Black Spider Ninja Clan ninjas in the archives reads about the greater fiends Nicchae and Ishtaros.
Later Ryu makes his way to the back of the monastery where he faces the Galla for the first time before meeting Rachel again. After a brief conversation the two are ambushed by the tentacle fiend Hydracubus who is swiftly defeated by the Dragon Ninja. Ayane also appears and is told by Ryu to take Rachel to safety. Ryu enters the monastery through the destroyed wall and fights lesser shadow fiends, Monk Fiends and drones.
Using the Book of Eons he enters the underground and, after barely outrunning a statue head, makes his way to the Econtra Babel Specus in which resides the skeleton of a dragon and close to it an old altar that looks as if something can be placed on it. After fighting through Ghuls and other fiends Ryu acquires the Holy Grail and places it on the Altar, only to awaken the Bone Dragon.
After the creature is rendered as a fossil yet again Ryu makes his way deeper into the underground where he needs to get through two obstacle rooms to activate a mechanism and open a sealed door. On the other side, however, he only finds the Hydracubus yet again. He defeats the fiend again and ventures through the underground, going through The Great Corridor and making his way to the Chamber of the Everlasting Sleep in which he acquires The Skull Key
The underground of the monastery, however, is flooded and Ryu gets onto an elevator back to the surface and in the Altar Hall he faces off against Rachel's twin sister and greater fiend, Alma. She is defeated and Rachel arrives at the scene but is unable to kill her sister who dissapers.
The Vigoor military arrives and puts the city in curfew saying the situation is "Code Orange" with heavily armoured soldiers, helicopters and tanks arriving as well as General Alternator who are all searching for Ryu. The monastery itself is largely destroyed after the battle. Ryu leaves Rachel alone when the lord of greater fiends Doku appears, expressing his anger towards Rachel for hurting Alma before knocking her out cold and abducting her
