Enenra are a four-legged daemons in Ninja Gaiden 4.
Description[]
A four-legged daemon with a face resembling a mask of an old man. Due to its high body temperature and the thin layer of smoke emanating from its body, it has been identified as the "enenra" yokai described in Japanese folklore.
Characterized by its swiftness, it is rare to catch a glimpse of its body due to its fluttering form. It also has the ability to manipulate fire at will, and is known to lethally burn its victims.
There are more territorial than other daemons and fiercely attack any trespasser. Although typically known to defend only their personal territory, they have been observed cooperating to drive out intruders in extreme cases, occasionally not only killing their target but also burning the surrounding area to ash.

History[]
Enenra are first encountered in Chapter 5: Raging Valley. They are commonly found in Fuuhaku Sanctum.
When Yakumo and Seori team up to break the Dark Dragon seals in order to purify him, their path leads them to Fuuhaku Sanctum, where the second shrine is protected by Kurobo. On his way to the shrine, Yakumo faces and defeats many enenras.
