Foltogre are humanoid Fiends appearing in Ninja Gaiden 4. The Foltogre comes in two variants depending on the weapon they carry: Machete or Rod.

A large weapon-wielding fiend clad in simple garb with two horns sprouting from its head.
These creatures appear to derive their self-worth from heir own physical strength, fighting opponents with ferocity as if single-mindedly trying to overpower them. Its violent nature results in frequent wounds, but its exceptional physical strength and healing ability ensure it always returns to the battlefield before long.
Particular about the weapons it uses, it has been observed cleaning and maintaining them following battles, and communication between specimens seems to be predominantly focused on weaponry. With unusually high intelligence and a clear social structure, some theorize that these creatures may have descended from warriors of long ago who traveled to the depths of the underworld in search of otherworldly power.
