Description[]
A collection of shrines dedicated to the god of raging winds located on the outskirts of Tokyo. Surrounded by steep mountains, the constant fierce gales make access to its valleys extremely difficult, and although ascetics once frequented the area to meditate, this practice has ceased in recent years due to the growing numbers of aggressive daemons.
However, the cyclones' continuous raging ensures that reverence for Fuuhaku Sanctum is as strong as ever. The locals, out of fear as much as respect, still make regular and generous offerings of appeasement.
Fuuhaku Sanctum is also sacred to the local wind-worshipping tengu, and they are known to deal swift and deadly punishment to any caught trespassing, transforming the area into a forbidden no man's land.
