Gen is a minor character in Ninja Gaiden.
His corpse can be found in Zarkhan Labyrinth. His diary reveals that he was the leader of the group that had infiltrated Tairon in order to recover the Dark Dragon Blade. After some time, he was able to successfully in infiltrated the Imperial Palace. He had accepted that all of his comrades were dead, with the exception of Dai who he was hoping to meet up with before attacking the emperor. He expresses shame that his master's plan for the Dark Dragon Blade was to use it for his tea, and kept the plan a secret for the sake of the clan. He is unable to meet up with Dai, and eventually dies wondering the Labyrinth.
