Genjiro (源次郎 Genjirō?) is a Greater Ninja and member of the Hayabusa Ninja Clan who first appeared in Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword.
Plot[]
Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword[]
A born and bred Ninja from the Hayabusa Village, his vast experience and wisdom is a great asset to Ryu. He has survived many a bloody battle alongside Ryu's father Joe Hayabusa.
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge[]
After Sanji saved Ryu, the young Dragon Ninja recovers and walks around his hometown, to the relief of his hayabusa brethren; including Genjiro, teaching the Genin at the Hayabusa Dojo. He senses that the Black Spider Clan are up to no good once again, and tells Ryu to leave the safety of the village to him and the young Hayabusa cadets in the village, saying that they could use the training while the young Master Ninja is away.
Etymology[]
- The name Genjiro means "source, origin" (源) (gen), "next" (次) (ji) and "son" (郎) (ro).
