The Gunners are an enemy in Ninja Gaiden (NES).

First appearing in Act 2-2, Gunners are similar to Knife Men, but more active. Gunners slowly move forward and backward, but with every second, they stop to machine-gun-fire 3 bullets forward. If not killed quickly, they can be very effective campers. Both their contact and bullet attacks do 1 damage, and they are best defeated using sub-weapons like the Shuriken to take them out before they start firing.
