This metallic crystalline heart, the color of a fire raging over an oil slick, once beat within the malevolent chest of the Greater Fiend Zedonius. It retained its original shape even as its owner's flesh turned to ash amidst purgatorial flames.
The essence of Zedonius' flame not extingushed by his death smolders faintly within this artifact even today.
