Into the Catacombs is the 3-4 mission in Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound and part of Act 3: Bladewalker. The stage takes place in Odawara Castle. Its Secret Ops equivalent is S-5 Secret Castle.
Description[]
Beneath the restored Odawara Castle, a hidden catacomb unveils ancient secrets. Guarded by shadowy passages and forgotten traps, an Energy Crystal lies in wait.
Collectables[]
Scarabs[]
- Scarab: From the start, you will head to the right's end and then have to climb up. At the top, you will see a Demon Altar. The Scarab is under neath it, you need the use the ceiling under it.
- Scarab x3: After a cutscene on a staircase with Deikrag, go up and enter the building. Proceed to the far right end, the use the enemies to head up. The proceed to the far left and go up and then right. There you will find a triple scarab.
- Scarab: From the triple scarab, proceed up and then to the right. Deikrag will then charge at you and open a path on the left. Head out and climb up with Guillotine Boost. The second time you have to climb up using the Guillotine Boost, there will be a scarab up in the air reachable with Guillotine Boost.
- Scarab x3: After the secret op, you will meet Deikrag again and go through collapsing platforming. Then you will enter the sewers. Once you reach the checkpoint, you will have to drop down on the right and then head left. You will right away see a hole where water falls with a Demon Spear above it. Jump into the hole, to find a triple scarab.
Crystal Skulls[]
- Crystal Skull: In the beginning, after reaching the far right, you will climb up and see a Demon Altar on the left. Use it and with Kumori head to the left. At the end, you will find a Crystal Skull.
- Crystal Skull: After reaching the rooftops, you will encounter two Stout Demons one after another. After that you will drop down to reach a checkpoint. Head left and there will be a Demon Spear. Use the Guillotine Boost to boost yourself and reach the Crystal Skull above him.
- Crystal Skull: From the triple scarab, break the wall behind it. At the end, you will find a Crystal Skull.
Secret Ops[]
- Secret Ops: You will eventually hit a button and open a path to the underground. As you progress, you will reach a checkpoint. After it, you will need to start heading down, but right after you pass by the checkpoint, the ceiling block will fall. Now instead of going down, go up in the hole that the ceiling left and you will find the secret op.
