A disk-shaped stone in which a jade mask is embedded.
Although it closely resembles the jade masks excavated in the Mayan ruins of Palenque, this specimen far predates them. This surprising fact could be explained by recent theories that suggest that all Central and South American artistic sensibilities originated in the legendary Amazonian pyramid ruins known as "Necromantale."
This region is central to the Necromantale legends. A variety of tales passed down through this area's oral tradition suggest potential locations for the mysterious structure, but the giant pyramid of Necromantale remains as yet undiscovered. It is believed to have disintegrated or been buried over the millennia.
