Jin Hayabusa (ジン・ハヤブサ / 隼 仁 Hayabusa Jin?) was a ninja from the Hayabusa Ninja Clan. He was also an ancestor of Jô Hayabusa and Ryu Hayabusa, who lived in the 1600s.[1] He appears as a secret boss in the Bloodshed's End DLC from Team Ninja's Nioh.
History[]
Jin Hayabusa was a Dragon Ninja of the 17th Century and Master Ninja of the Hayabusa Ninja Clan. A master ninja years ahead of his time, he was the inheritor of the Dragon Sword after Shunden; the Dragon Ninja who shook hands with Oda Nobunaga in the construction of the Castle of the Dragon.
After receiving word about a strong samurai from a foreign land, Jin snuck a challenge through Hattori Hanzo III, and would meet the foreign Samurai William on a moonlit night. Despite his apparent mastery of the mystical and martial arts of the Hayabusa-style, Jin was surprisingly bested. Happy to have taken the opportunity, Jin sees that there's more to William and that he himself must evolve the Hayabusa to new heights. With this the two part on friendly terms.

Trivia[]
• Jin, as well as Ren in Nioh 2, are easter eggs from Tecmo's franchise Dead or Alive, as well as Ninja Gaiden
• Ryu Hayabusa, the main character of Ninja Gaiden, whom Jin is based on, is a half-demon, half-human hybrid. Most likely, this explains why both Jin and Ren Hayabusa, follow suit and are incredibly superhuman in their movement compared to William and "The Protagonist" from Nioh 2.
