The Kû no Tani is a location in Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound.
Description[]
A torri gate located within the depths of Mount Fuji, it serves as a gateway between mortal world, and the Underworld. It is the means in which the Fiends serving under the Demon Lord are able to cross over and invade, but the Demon Lord himself is unable to pass through the gateway due to the seal on the gate via the three Energy Crystals. Humans can also use the gate to enter the Underworld themselves, and return to the human realm just as easily. After the Energy Crystals are destroyed, the Kû no Tani loses its ability to function as a gateway between the two worlds and vanishes, trapping the Demon Lord and his servants in the Underworld, but also either Kenji Mozu or Kumori.
Trivia[]
- The Kû no Tani seems to have some connection to the Blade of the Archfiend once wielded by the Supreme Ninja Overlord Genshin of the Black Spider Ninja Clan, as his taking of the blade prompted the CIA Agent and his agency to begin monitoring the gate. What that connection is remains unknown.
