Ninja Gaiden II has a large amount of Key Items which Ryu Hayabusa must find and use to progress through the game.
All but a few Key Items have been removed in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus, and Ninja Gaiden II: Black.
