Midnight Assault is the 2-1 mission in Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound and part of Act 2: Path of the Spider. The stage takes place in Black Spider Clan HQ. This stage is the first instance where players control Kumori. Its Secret Ops equivalent is S-2 Demon Pest.

Description

During the Black Spider Clan's midnight gathering, a demon disrupts the peace with a surprise attack. Kumori slashes through the chaos to protect her bosses.

Collectables

Scarabs

1. Scarab: On the main path, a bit after the stage starts, you will encounter your first enemies, the scarab will be among the bookshelves after the first two enemies.
2. Scarab: After taking the elevator to go up, proceed through the next section. At the end, you will have to go down two floors. Proceed to the right and the scarab will be in the next section up on the ceiling between two weapons.
3. Scarab: After going through an elevator and a section with enemies coming through the window, you will have to go down again two levels. In the next section on the left, there will be three weapons which lasers cross each other. The scarab is on the ceiling between the first and second weapon.

Crystal Skulls

1. Crystal Skull: After taking the elevator to go up, proceed through the next section. At the end, you will have to go down. Go down only one level and then to the right. This is a dead end with a Crystal Skull.
2. Crystal Skull: After reaching a cutscene with an elevator breaking down, enemies will come from two portals on the left and right. After that take the left path and the Crystal Skull will be in the middle of the next room.
3. Crystal Skull: After the broken elevator, proceed to the right and there will be a checkpoint. Continue until the end and once you are outside, go up the stairs. The Crystal Skull will be there.

Secret Ops

1. Secret Ops: After the elevator breaks down, proceed to the left and climb up the building from he outside again. When you are back to where you took the elevator (which then broke down), go down one level and enter the left side (you have to stick to the left). The secret op will be in that room.
