Achievements and Trophies are awards received for accomplishing certain tasks in Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus. There are 51 achievements and trophies for the game.
The original Ninja Gaiden for Xbox 360 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma for the PS3 did not have achievements and trophies. The re-release for the Playstation Vita, Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus, however added trophies support. Later the Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection was released for the PS4, XboxOne, Switch and PC via Steam. The Collection included a Ninja Gaiden Sigma version that uses the Sigma Plus trophies list as achievements and trophies for the XboxOne, PS4 and Steam. The only minor difference was that one trophy name was shortened and few others had their description also shortened.

Changes from Sigma Plus[]
There are a few minor changes from the Sigma Plus version for the Vita and the Sigma from the Master Collection for the PS4, Xbox One and Steam.
In the Sigma the trophy "Unlabored Flawlessness Master" has been shortened from "Wooden Sword/Unlabored Flawlessness Master" in the Sigma Plus
The trophies "Cleared 6 Trials", "Cleared 10 Trials" and "Cleared 14 Trials" had their descriptions shortened in Sigma. The Sigma Plus descriptions are: "Clear Unrivaled Meeting, Nightmarish Phantasms, Abysmal Lair, and Secrets of Shooting", "Clear Secrets of Fighting, Military Destruction, Descent of the Fiends, and Captivating Goddesses" and "Clear Desperation, Fateful Confrontation, Battlefield of the Abyss, and Giants of the Underworld"
