Ninja Gaiden Wiki

Article layout is to a large extent standardized on Ninja Gaiden Wiki. This Article layout is a guide to be used in conjunction with the Manual of Style.

Headings should have the first letter of every word capitalized, except for prepositions e.g. "of" or "in." Article headings are standardized.

These headings should appear in this order if they are needed in an article:

  • History is always used for the background history of the article's subject. It must be the first heading. On event articles, it is the background that led to the actual event. Never name such sections anything else other than "History."
  • Trivia sections are permitted; they must always use this title to make this clear.
  • See Also is always used for sections that include links to relevant articles.

The word "the" should never be used to start a heading e.g. "Battle" instead of "The Battle".

Guides

Guides should be written in second person narrative style. This means that it is alright to address the reader as you. All guides should be written for normal difficulty. Guides should include a brief paragraph at the top transitioning from the last chapter into this one. In the case of a first chapter, the opening cut scene should instead be summarized.

Each chapter should be broken down into stages. Divide it into areas. Each new area should be given a new header. Further break those sections down by bolding any items or chests that can be found.

Bosses should receive their own header as well. Boss sections should detail the bosses attacks, movements and a general strategy that can be done with any weapon. No special strategy should be given for a specific weapon.
