Ogres are a larger race of Fiends first appearing in Ninja Gaiden Black, they wield large bludgeons, and are one of the most aggressive enemies in the game.

Appearence

Ogres have olive green skin with distinct blue markings, they wear a skull resembeling a Triceratops on their face, and have large hands and feet. When their helmet is destroyed their skin turns red and they are revealed to have many eyes.

Abilities and Powers

Strength

Ogres are one of the most powerful enemies in the game, as well as one of the largest, they can swing their large bludgeons around with ease and will deal immense damage to Ryu. All of their attacks are able to break Ryu's guard, some of them even being able to slightly harm him in doing so.

Berserk Mode

If the skull they wear is destroyed, they enter a Berserk mode in which they gain a very dangerous 3 hit combo that can instantly break Ryu's guard.

Durability

Ogres are one of the most durable foes in the game, and can suffer immense amounts of damage before finally succumbing to their wounds.

Throw

At times, an Ogre may roar and jump into the air, if it lands on Ryu, it will proceed to pick him up and toss him to the ground.

Trivia

• In Ninja Gaiden Sigma, if their skull helmet is broken, their skin will gradually become a thicker shade of red.
