Saru is a minor character in Ninja Gaiden.
Saru's corpse can be found at the foot of the Stairway to the Imperial Palace, behind the entrance gate. He's dairy expresses him and his comrade's confusion and dread after encountering a human that turned into a fiend. Saru had discovered that the mastermind behind the theft of the Dark Dragon Blade was Vigoor Emperor himself. He ultimately dies from the Vigoorian curse.
