The Sword Ninja is an enemy in Ninja Gaiden (NES).

Sword Ninjas are first introduced in Act 4-2. They fall straight down from the top of the screen, then leap forward a good distance in Ryu's direction to attack. Once they land, they run forward for a second with sword out. After that second passes, they jump again, and this is how they redirect themselves at Ryu. They only deal 1 point of damage on contact, and are easily defeated in one hit by any attack.
