Takeminakata (鬼刃建御名方 Kijin Takeminakata; Demon Blade Takeminakata)is the main weapon that Yakumo uses in Ninja Gaiden 4. The Takeminakata are cursed blades that have been passed down to the leaders of the Raven Clan for generations. Combined with Raven Clan's Bloodbind Ninjutsu, the weapon can turn into a large tachi blade.

Purchasing Weapon Skills require Weapon EXP, which is accumulated by defeating enemies. Acquiring some of the skills, will unlock more skill to purchase.
- Winged Blade: Base Form L-DOWN L-UP Square
- Slice straight through an enemy following a quick charge. 5000 Weapon EXP.
- Kurama Splitter: Bloodraven Form L-DOWN L-UP Square.
- Slash an enemy upward and follow up with a downward pierce. Hold Square to extend your blade and perform additional follow-up strikes, triggering a Bloodbath Kill if in berserk state. 12500 Weapon EXP.
- Falling Beak: Base Form L-DOWN L-UP Triangle
- Jump into the air and swiftly slash down toward your enemy. 5000 Weapon EXP.
- Takumo Drop: Bloodraven Form L-DOWN L-UP Triangle
- Execute a helmet-breaking technique using the sword as the fulcrum. Hold Triangle to extend your blade and perform additional follow-up strikes, triggering a Bloodbath Kill if in Berserk state. 12500 Weapon EXP.
- Heel Strike: Base Form L-360 Square
- Perform a rapid flurry of strikes toward your enemy. 7000 Weapon EXP.
- Insatiable Ripper: Bloodraven Form L-360 Square
- Spin your blade in a wide arc, slashing enemies around you. Hold Square to extend your blade and perform additional follow-up strikes, triggering a Bloodbath Kill if in Berserk state. 17500 Weapon EXP.
- Spiral Shadow: Base Form L-360 Triangle
- Perform a sweeping slash, attacking enemies in a wide range around you. 7000 Weapon EXP.
- Serpent Cleave: Bloodraven Form L-360 Triangle
- Perform multiple sweeping attacks in front of you. Hold Triangle to extend your blade and perform additional follow-up strikes, triggering a Bloodbath Kill if in Berserk state. 17500 Weapon EXP.
- Rising Stance: Spin: Bloodraven Form Cross Square
- Rise upward while perched atop your blade and slash down from the skies in a wide arc around you, triggering a Bloodbath Kill if in Berserk state. 6000 Weapon EXP.
- Rising Stance: Crush: Bloodraven Form Cross Triangle
- Rise upward while perched atop your blade and slam down your blade in a large area in front of you, triggering a Bloodbath Kill if in Berserk state.
- Vaulting Stance: Impact: Bloodraven Form R1 Square
- Vault forward while perched atop your blade and unleash a flip attack in a large area in front of you, triggering a Bloodbath Kill if in Berserk state. 8000 Weapon EXP.
- Vaulting Stance: Sweep: Bloodraven Form R1 Triangle
- Vault forward while perched atop your blade and perform a wide slash against surrounding enemies, triggering a Bloodbath Kill if in Berserk state. 8000 Weapon EXP.
