Talismans are obtained from Muramasa's Shop in exchange for Golden Scarabs. New talismans are unlocked by reaching certain ranks on each stage. At the rank screen of the stage, there will be a pinwheel on the rank scale, showing what rank you need to beat the stage to unlock the talisman. The required ranks are usually between D and A. Up to two talismans can be equipped at the same time.
The talismans fall into seven categories: Attack, Challenge, Damage Reduction, Life Recovery, Movement, Utility and Score. Talismans in same categories share same icons.

Blood Frenzy

Bearer recovers health each time an enemy is defeated during a kill streak greater than 3.
Traveler's Blessing
4 Scarabs
Upon reaching a checkpoint, health is restored completely, providing a brief respite in the journey.
Last Stance
4 Scarabs
Melee damage increases 75% when health is low.
Guillotine Charge
4 Scarabs
Hitting 3 consecutive Guillotine boosts on different targets grants you Hypercharge.
Steel Mind
2 Scarabs
Reduces manual Hypercharge damage taken by 25%.
No Rest for the Wicked
1 Scarabs
Death brings the bearer back to the beginning of the stage. Rank increased by 1.
Perilousness
1 Scarabs
Damage received is tripled. Rank is increased by 1.
Unworthy
1 Scarabs
Checkpoints do not recover health. Rank increased by 1.
Scarcity
1 Scarabs
Health orbs are removed from levels. Rank increased by 1.
Ghost Shell
5 Scarabs
Invulnerability lasts 50% longer after being damaged.
Unstable Aura
5 Scarabs
Enemies with an aura that are killed with the matching attack explode on death, damaging surrounding enemies.
Ultimate Harvester
5 Scarabs
Rage Orbs are filled twice as fast.
Piercing Steel
6 Scarabs
Regular kunai attacks pierce through enemies, but are still blocked by shields.
Second Wind
4 Scarabs
Blows that would be lethal instead reduce health to 1. Will not prevent death if health is at 1.
Six Eyes
4 Scarabs
Grants the bearer heightened Ki mastery, halving Spider Weapon's Ki cost.
Soul Eater
4 Scarabs
Increases Ki gained by melee attacks by 25%.
Shadow Step
4 Scarabs
Rolling damages enemies in addition to evading damage.
Skyward Strikes
5 Scarabs
While at full health, sword slashes create blasts of wind striking the first enemy they come across.
Composed Assassin
6 Scarabs
Death does not hurry; during a kill streak, the time allowed between executions is increased by 25%.
