Hall of Demons is the location of Act 4-3 in Ninja Gaiden. Ryu Hayabusa goes through here as the quickest route through the Temple of Darkness to reach the Jaquio.
At the end of Hall of Demons, is the location of Act 4-4, Space of Kelbeross.
Ninja Gaiden[]
The Hall of Demons is the first of three sectors inside the Temple of Darkness, and by far the easiest of the three. It brings back some of the earlier in-game enemies but also introduces some new ones. There are four rooms here, the first being an empty platforming area.
In some areas of the background, statues of a sorcerer can be seen embedded in the wall, a decoration that also appears in the other two sectors. These statues could possibly be Bloody Malth or even the Jaquio, in a different getup than what they normally wear.
Enemies[]
Valuable Pickups (rooms are split off by spaces):[]
- Nothing here, platforming section.
- Art of Flying Firewheel
- Topmost candle at the start: Ryu must climb up and get it from the right side. - Windmill Shuriken
- There is a dead end if you ignore the platforms, and just before the pit holds this candle. However, a Dog will try to ambush Ryu from behind if he tries to get this one.
- Windmill Shuriken
- First candle Ryu comes across here. - Health Potion
- Underneath the first two Kelberos Cannons. - Art of Flying Firewheel
- The first candle right after the two Kelberos Cannons.
- Windmill Shuriken
- Topmost candle at the start of this room.
Trivia[]
- Despite being called the Hall of Demons, the enemy density has a much bigger focus on human enemies, with only a couple of demon-like enemies such as the Dogs (NES-only) and Kelberos Cannons.
- * The music in the stage, titled "Apprehensive Moments", is borrowed from a cutscene in Act 2.
