Umi (?) is a comms specialist of the Raven Clan in Ninja Gaiden 4. She provides support for Yakumo during his mission.

A young ninja who serves as the operations and communications specialist in Yakumo's unit.
Close friends with Yakumo since youth, she is a skilled expert in her field known for her ability to execute missions with precision and efficiency. An essential contributor to the Raven Clan's endeavors, she is a capable of hacking security systems and providing supplies through a system she modified herself. After experiencing the devastating loss of a unit member in a past operation, she has buried herself in various fields of study with a keen focus on ensuring her unit's survival.
She takes her duties extremely seriously and dedicates her entire self to the completion of the mission. Perhaps due to her young age, irregularities occasionally cause her to lose her nerve, but her natural compatibility with Yakumo has given her a strong reputation within the clan.
She generally refuses to show her own face, instead choosing to represent herself with an avatar of her own creation.

Umi never physically appears in the game, instead talking with Yakumo through her various communication terminals that displays a penguin avatar illustration instead of her own face.
