Veilotl is a large fiend in Ninja Gaiden 4. Veilotl is a boss that Yakumo encounters at the end of Chapter 9: Realm of Silent Dead.
Description[]
A gigantic fiend that resides in the sea of the underworld. Its body is encased in a translucent gelatinous substance that reveals its innards.
It spends most of its time in the sea but comes ashore to feed, where it swallows its prey whole. It will remain on land until its prey is sufficiently digested, but because it is such a voracious eater, the digestion process takes a considerable amount of time.
When threatened, it will expel any prey contained in its stomach. This prey, having already been consumed once, fears the veilotl, and will fight on its behalf to avoid further provoking its ire.

History[]
Veilotl lives in the underworld. When Yakumo chases Cetus, he jumps between dimensions. While being in the underworld, he encounters Veilotl, who attacks Yakumo. During their fight, Veilotl spits out some other fiends it ate, however none of them, including Veilotl are match for Yakumo as he defeat Veilotl and the smaller fiends.
